Someone pretending to be a lawyers office keeps contacting my home and my work stating that I'm being sued by a payday loan company that I don't not have a loan with. They have all my banking information (now closed account) and my full social security number. I've been receiving calls from a lot of numbers that have my information. I wish that these calls would just stop.

I know it was a Georgia Tech number, because it was an 894 #. I could not understand anything though.

Calls have been non-stop. I've answered twice. First time a recorded voice asked me to hold for them and I hung up. Second time was a man with broken English. Clearly India/Middle East. Barely understood anything. I tried to get his name the name of his company and why he was calling and he would never give me an answer. I thought I heard "Macy's" but unsure. I hung-up but the calls do not stop!

I have received at least 15 calls from this number in the past week...6 of them yesterday.A recording comes on and says press 1 for english... I hang up because I have no idea who it is...but it is becoming very bothersome! And, I AM on the no callers list.

phone company can't stop it and it keeps calling and nobody on the other end of the line and leaves no messages. what can we do to stop this ?
